I was going to put this in the PC forum but seems too "discussiony"...

There was a guy who used to trade post 3e to one pre black dye, but ecto wasn't worth as much then(this was when it was like 5-6k at the trader), and this guy probably had a lot of junk lying around anyway... and I've seen a few traders making similar offers.

Whatever, if I were to liquidate my pre searing stuff for post what would be the exchange rate?

Or barring that once I get my LDoA done what would be the most profitable investment to make in pre to carry out to post. I know to liquidate my dye, my runes, any char kits and maybe char bags, trophies, as these are all relatively worthless in post, but I wonder if there's anything I can invest in pre that would be worth carrying to post.

There isnt really anything at all in pre you can buy that would be worth while to bring to post (not even minipets, as the pre ones are more expensive than the same minipet in post).

I usually see 1:2 conversions for pre

ost gold, so one platinum pre would be 2 platinum post.

pre - post now is like 1:2,5 because of the many many "newbs" there, and indeed the BD:Ecto ratio = 1:3 and you find easy trades, very easy.

charr carvings is an other investment: you can buy them 5k-7.5k / Stack now (where 5k is the general accepted price) and watch them skyrocket at an event like halloween in post searing. (just buy other char slot and use it to travel pre-post)

when i get a BD i always trade it for 35Goth (gifts of the huntsman), why you ask.. with my calculations of price/point Alc,sweets,party (all spammable) and the average drop rate of 10.7 sweet points 10.7 party points and 14.3 Drunk points PER 5 GIFTS you are gonna be able to sell goth's 1k each in Post, while they are 320gold pre (Ratio of 3,125)

There is quite many ppl paying example 850ectos for 250blackdyes. which is 1bdye = 3.4Ectos

Usual Ratio seems be 1bd = 3e tho

Overall Ratio seems be 1k pre = 2.5-3k Post
